Innovative and Natural Chemical Detection
PO Box 190, Palmyra WA 6957

“Plants interact with the surrounding soil, water and air, extracting and releasing chemicals throughout their life cycle. Phytoscreening is based on the place-bound nature of plants and their ability to harvest all their chemical requirements to be the dominant organisms on Earth. Being place-bound allows the assessment and measurement of chemical activity, as plants are ideal recorders, having an intimate connection with their surroundings” - Dr Joel Burken, Missouri University of Science and Technology

Transpiro utilizes plants and their material as biological sensors to gain information on the presence of chemicals in the land. The information obtained from plant is presented in very succinct reports and maps which can be used to assist in the management of chemicals in the landscape which will streamline cost by detecting hotspots.

What We Provide

If you are looking for a way to identify the chemical composition in your environment, usually this would be an expensive, highly invasive and messy situation.

Our Transpiration Process consists of six main steps, ensuring the end user is informed with each step, creating confidence in our methodology, making it perfect for all industries.

CONSULT - outline expectations and requirements

  • Completion of preliminary questionnaire
  • Seek information or advice from land owner / manager
  • Determine ‘best course of action’

EVALUATION - confirm suitability of Transpiro techniques

  • Onsite or Offsite based upon project requirements
  • Online mapping to review comprehensive testing regime
  • Option to complete vegetation surveys

FIELDWORK - sample collection

  • Adhere to ‘best-practise’ field operation protocols
  • Completed by qualified, skilled operators
  • Minimise risk of cross-contamination

ANALYSIS - determine chemical composition and quantity

  • Completed in registered and approved laboratory
  • Quick-turnaround of results
  • Options for methodology

MAPS - visual representation of chemical activity

  • Use of GIS(Geographical Information Systems) Mapping experts
  • Indication of chemicals found
  • Use of ‘Traffic Light Systems’ representation

DATA - collation of information

  • Option to provide raw data in spreadsheet format or laboratory report
  • Option to provide objective field report
  • Option to provide a full comprehensive report containing all data
